Glowara Studio — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 30 June 2026 · Last updated: 30 June 2026
Glowara Studio (“Glowara”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Studio Markers. This Privacy
Policy explains what information we collect when you use Glowara Studio (the “Service”, at glowara.in /
studio.glowara.in), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. If you do not agree, please do
not use the Service. Contact: [email protected].
1. Information we collect
- Account information — when you sign in (e.g. name, email) via our authentication provider.
- Content you provide — videos, audio, images, scripts, and settings you upload or create so
we can render, edit, caption, and (if you choose) publish them.
- Connected-account data — if you connect a third-party platform (e.g. YouTube), we store an
OAuth refresh token that lets us perform the actions you initiate on that platform on your
behalf. See §2.
- Usage & device data — logs, request metadata, and diagnostics needed to operate and
secure the Service.
- Payment data — payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card
numbers.
2. Google / YouTube API Services
Glowara Studio uses YouTube API Services to let you publish your own rendered videos to your
own YouTube channel.
- By connecting YouTube you also agree to the
YouTube Terms of Service.
Google’s handling of data is described in the
Google Privacy Policy.
- Scopes we request, minimised to our single feature:
youtube.upload — to upload the specific video you choose to publish, and
set the thumbnail you generated, to your own channel.
youtube.force-ssl — to attach the caption/subtitle (CC) track generated from that
same render to the video we just uploaded for you.
- What we do not do: we do not read, list, modify, or delete any of your existing YouTube
videos, comments, or account settings; we do not use YouTube data for advertising; and we do not use
it to develop, improve, or train generalised machine-learning models.
- Storage & retention: we store the OAuth refresh token (secured/encrypted at rest) only
to publish on your behalf, and only until you disconnect in the app or revoke access. We do not
retain copies of your YouTube content beyond the file you explicitly chose to publish.
- Revoking access: disconnect inside Glowara Studio, or revoke any time via your
Google Account
permissions. Revoking stops all further access.
Limited Use disclosure. Glowara Studio’s use and transfer of information received
from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the
Google
API Services User Data Policy, including the
Limited Use requirements.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service: render/edit/caption your content and, when you ask, publish it to a
connected platform.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- To process payments and prevent fraud/abuse.
- To communicate with you about your account or support requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use connected-platform (e.g. YouTube)
data for advertising or to train generalised AI models.
4. How we share information
- Service providers / sub-processors who process data on our behalf under contract — e.g.
cloud hosting, media-generation and transcription providers, and our payment processor — only as
needed to run the Service.
- Legal — to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
Content you direct us to publish (e.g. a video to your YouTube channel) is shared with that platform
at your instruction.
5. Data retention & deletion
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and
meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing
[email protected]; OAuth tokens are deleted when you
disconnect or delete your account.
6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures (including encryption in transit, and
at rest for secrets such as OAuth tokens) to protect your information. No method is 100% secure, but we
work to protect your data and respond to incidents.
7. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use
appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal
information.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy; we will post the new “Last updated” date and, for material changes,
provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
