Indian-language dubbing & translation — where the difference actually lands: the voice and the meaning.
Generic tools claim "50+ languages," but their Indic dubbing sounds robotic and their translation drops names and terms. Glowara dubs in natural Indian voices and keeps names, places and technical terms intact. Hear it and read it first — captions are further down.
Sarvam Bulbul voices. Press play: fluent delivery, correct stress, names pronounced right.
🎧 Audio only: Tamil · Hindi. Competitor dubs tend to be flat and mispronounce names — drop their clip alongside to compare.
Sarvam Mayura, English → Indian languages. Proper nouns, places and terms survive the translation instead of being dropped or transliterated to mush.

Proper Indic script shaping — no broken ligatures or mis-ordered vowel signs.
Left is a naive renderer (ffmpeg drawtext — no complex-script shaping), the shortcut many pipelines take. Right is Glowara (libass + HarfBuzz, the renderer in the product). Same text, same font. This is an honest illustration of the failure mode — not a competitor screenshot (those are below).
Tamil அனைவருக்கும்: the naive renderer mis-orders the ஐ vowel sign (renders as அனவைருக்கும்) and detaches the ு signs. Glowara shapes it correctly.
Hindi विष्णु: the naive renderer breaks the ष्ण conjunct and misplaces the इ-matra (renders as वष्णि्ु). Glowara renders the conjunct intact.
The same scripts, run through a real competitor. Drop their screenshots to fill the right column.
Script: முருகனின் அருளால் இந்த வினாயகர் சதுர்த்தி அனைவருக்கும் நல்லதாக அமையட்டும்
👀 Look at: முருகன் (Murugan), வினாயகர் (Vinayagar), and அனைவருக்கும் — the vowel sign on அனை is where unshaped renderers mis-order the glyphs.
Script: भगवान गणेश और विष्णु की कृपा से महाभारत की यह कथा सुनिए
👀 Look at: विष्णु (the ष्ण conjunct), गणेश (Ganesh), महाभारत (Mahabharata), and कृपा — complex conjuncts generic tools split or mis-stack.

Captions burned with the same renderer the product uses (libass / HarfBuzz). Voices & translation by Sarvam AI. Competitor columns are the identical script run through the other tool.
